Q. How long do helium filled balloons remain floating for?
A. Standard size latex balloons can stay afloat for approx 18 - 24 hours when filled with helium. Helium filled foil balloons float for 2-5 days. If your balloon has a metallic or pearl finish, its average flying time reduces to around 16-18 hours.

Q. Do helium balloons last longer in warmer or cooler temperatures?
A. Helium filled balloons are sensitive to temperature changes. Cooler air causes the helium to shrink, which makes the balloon appear to deflate, although it still floats. Warmer temperatures can cause the helium to expand and the balloon to burst.

Q. How do you keep helium balloons from deflating overnight?

A. Our best answer is storage. If the balloons are going to be used the next day or at multiple events, it is better to store them in plastic bags or a plastic covering. The plastic bags preserve the balloons so that you can transport and decorate your event without any fuss.

Q. How long do balloon garlands last for?
A. Standard balloon garlands made with properly air inflated latex balloons will last anywhere from 1 to 2 days without any noticeable issues. A garland displayed indoors will last significantly longer whereas a garland displayed outdoors can be effected by heat and humidity which can reduce inflation length of time.
